If you though the death of the Jigsaw Killer would mark the end of new movies being released within the Saw universe, think again. This May, a unique game will begin in Spiral: From the Book of Saw.

Today (March 30th, 2021) a second official trailer for the film featuring unseen footage that wasn’t featured in the first dropped, showcasing the relationship we should expect between Chris Rock’s character Detective Zeke Banks, and what looks to be his estranged father, an esteemed police veteran played by none other than Samuel L. Jackson.

You can check out the trailer for yourself below:

Working with a rookie partner (Max Minghella), Detective Banks immediately faces an uphill battle when he begins to recognise that grisly goings on in the city are reminiscent of the gruesome past he, and all those who live there will recognise.

As he’s drawn deeper into a deadly game, he finds himself suddenly at the centre of a morbid mystery as one dangerous individual takes matters into their own hands, unleashing a twisted form of justice against anybody they deem unworthy of the life they have been given.

There's plenty to get excited about for horror junkies who were big fans of the original Saw series and overall franchise. Whilst throwbacks are frequent, including the use of the pig mask that were made infamous in the city, there are also terrifying fresh scares delivered with new puppets and traps that look like they’ll be burned into our memories.

Fans were excited to see the teaser, taking to social media to chat about the upcoming release.

A host of character posters were also unveiled, showcasing the film’s cast with the titular spiral worked onto their faces as an effect. They’re a jarring bunch of pictures, to say the very least.
