20th Century Studios has released the long-awaited trailer for The Bob’s Burgers Movie, which sees the Belcher family get into some hilarious hijinks yet again.

Bob’s Burgers is a popular TV series that began all the way back in 2011, and follows restaurant owner Bob Belcher (H. Jon Benjamin) and his family (consisting of his wife and three children) as he tries to run a business while trying to tame his rather peculiar children.

The movie has seemingly been in the works for a while, with fans questioning what the feature would focus on, and when it would release.

The Bob’s Burgers Movie is an animated, big screen, musical comedy-mystery adventure based on the Emmy-winning series.

A ruptured water main starts this story off, as the disruption causes a giant sinkhole right in front of Bob’s Burgers, blocking the entrance to the popular burger joint and ruining the Belcher’s plans for a successful summer.

While Bob and his wife, Linda (John Roberts) try their best to keep their beloved business standing, their kids, Tina (Dan Mintz), Gene (Eugene Mirman) and Louise (Kristen Schaal) are on the case to solve a mystery that could save the family business.

As danger after danger piles up in front of the Belcher family, they all have each other’s backs as they help one another keep hope within reach and fight their way back behind the counter, where they belong.

The trailer for the movie showcases the Belcher family how they’re seen on TV, but with a whole lot more adventure. The teaser suggests an action-packed and comedy-filled affair, which is what we expect from one of TV’s craziest families.

The Bob's Burger's Movie utilises some great voice talent, including Larry Murphy, Zach Galifianakis, Kevin Kline, and David Wain.

Bernard Derriman serves as director, along with co-director Loren Bouchard, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Nora Smith. The producers are Loren Bouchard, Nora Smith and Janelle Momary.

It seems that this upcoming adventure will be a brilliant watch for kids and adults, and especially for fans of the long-running series. Bob and his family share some excellent comedy, which will surely be seen on the big screen.

The Bob’s Burgers Movie will be in cinemas on May 27th, 2022.
