A whole new ‘Ocean’s’ is on the scene in Ocean’s 8, with eight women planning to execute a heist in New York when the movie franchise returns in Summer 2018, distributed worldwide by Warner Bros. Pictures.

Sandra Bullock stars in the leading role alongside Cate Blanchett, Anne Hathaway, Mindy Kaling, Sarah Paulson, Awkwafina, Rihanna and Helena Bonham Carter, and now all eight of the ladies can be seen in the above first look image from the upcoming release.
Oscar-nominated filmmaker Gary Ross (Seabiscuit, The Hunger Games) finds himself in the Director’s Chair for the movie, directing from a screenplay he co-wrote with Olivia Milch, whilst Steven Soderbergh and Jon Kilik producing. Michael Tadross, Susan Ekins, Sandra Bullock, Diana Alvarez and Bruce Berman are all executive producers, whilst Milch co-produces.
A statement says of the film: “In summer 2018, the tide will turn as Debbie Ocean (Sandra Bullock) attempts to pull off the heist of the century at New York City’s star-studded annual Met Gala.
“Her first stop is to assemble the perfect crew: Lou (Cate Blanchett); Nine Ball (Rihanna); Amita (Mindy Kaling); Constance (Awkwafina); Rose (Helena Bonham Carter); Daphne Kluger (Anne Hathaway); and Tammy (Sarah Paulson).”
