Ouija: Origin of Evil

Ouija: Origin of Evil marks the return of Mike Flanagan to the director's chair for his first feature film since Before I Wake. The filmmaker is no stranger to the horror genre with the likes of Oculus and Absentia already under his belt.

The movie comes two years after the release of Ouija in 2014, which was one of the surprising sleeper hits of the year. However, it is telling a new story and will introduce us to some brand new characters.

The director has brought together a great cast as Elizabeth Reaser, Lin Shaye, Annalise Basso, Doug Jones, Henry Thomas, and Kate Siegel are all on board.

In 1965 Los Angeles, a widowed mother and her two daughters add a new stunt to bolster their séance scam business and unwittingly invite authentic evil into their home.

When the youngest daughter is overtaken by the merciless spirit, this small family confronts unthinkable fears to save her and send her possessor back to the other side.

This autumn looks set to be a great time for horror movies as there are quite a few films on the horizon and Ouija: Origin of Evil looks on course to be one of the films that cannot afford to be missed.

Ouija: Origin of Evil is released 21st October.
