If you are looking for some family adventure on the big screen this autumn than you need to look no further than Pan, which sees Joe Wright back in the director's chair.

Pan

Pan

While Pan is inspired by the story of Peter Pan by J.M. Barrie, this is a Neverland adventure that we have never seen before.

Pan is promising to be one of the most stunning looking movies of the autumn and this new featurette sees the director and the actors talking about the impact of 3D:

Wright has been behind some terrific movies during his career, such as Atonement and Pride & Prejudice, but this is his first film since his adaptation of Anna Karenina back in 2012. I am a huge fan of the filmmaker and it is great to see him back in the director's chair.

However, what I am looking forward to the most with Pan, is seeing Hugh Jackman take on the villainous role of Blackbeard. It is not often that we get to see this Oscar nominated actor play the villain and I cannot wait to see what he delivers in the role - Jackman is another FemaleFirst favourite.

A great cast has been assembled for the film as Rooney Mara, Garrett Hedlund, Amanda Seyfried, Nonso Anozie, an Cara Delevingne are all on board. We are also going to be introduced to the acting talents of Levi Miller, who takes on the role of Peter.

Offering a new take on the origin of the classic characters created by J.M. Barrie, the action adventure follows the story of an orphan who is spirited away to the magical Neverland. There, he finds both fun and dangers, and ultimately discovers his destiny... to become the hero who will be forever known as Peter Pan.

The more I see of Pan the more I cannot wait to see the whole movie as it promises to be an action packed ride that's filled with great characters and wonderful special effects.

Pan is released 16th October.
