Ryan is nominated for Best Actor for 'La La Land' at the ceremony, which Jimmy is hosting on Sunday (26.02.17) and he quipped that the star needs to make sure he doesn't ruin everything.

Ryan, 36, said: "He's a friend and I'm a fan and I think he's going to do a wonderful job. I guess my advice would be, don't f**k it up."

And Matt Damon wants Jimmy to live up to his "extremely low expectations" at the Oscars.

The 46-year-old actor continued his ongoing fictitious feud with the 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!' star and quipped he doesn't even need to hope that the 49-year-old American star's gig as the host of this year's Academy Awards, will be a failure.

He told The Hollywood Reporter: "Well, evidently, what he said so far was that he doesn't care at all who wins as long as I lose. I tried to get on his [post-]Oscar show last year. I mean, I was nominated; he still didn't let me on. Somebody asked me, 'Do I want him to do bad?' and the reality is I don't even have to hope for that. I just want him to live up to my extremely low expectations."

Matt is a producer of Best Picture nominee 'Manchester by the Sea'.

However, Best Actress nominee Octavia Spencer is sure that he will be great.

The 'Hidden Figures' actress said: "Oh my God, Jimmy Kimmel is one of the funniest people on the planet. He just needs to do what he does, and relax and enjoy the night."
