Sam Worthington has described the story that Jim Cameron wants to tell in Avatar 2 & 3 as 'monumental.'
It's been over two years since we were taken to Pandora for the first time in the box office smash and a sequel is rumoured to be in the pipeline.
And Worthington, who took on the role of Jake Sully in the movie, has revealed that Cameron has shared the story for the sequels with him.
In a chat with Total Film the actor said: "I love where he wants to take the story.
"He told me the whole story for Avatar 2 & 3. It's monumental, It's just too big!
"The way Jim tells it... he's not going to make a sequel for the money. He's making it because he wants to take you on another transformative experience, and that's what this will set out to do."
Worthington is set to reprise another role later this spring with Wrath of the Titans.
He will play Perseus once again while Liam Neeson and Ralph Fiennes are back as Zeus and Hades.
