Stellan Skarsgard says he will be making a 'small appearance' in Avengers: Age of Ultron.
Skarsgard has played Dr Erik Selvig in Thor, Thor: The Dark World and Avengers Assemble, and now he is going to be on the cast list for the highly anticipated second Avengers film.
Speaking to Total Film, the actor said: "I'm going to be in Avengers: Age of Ultron, a small appearance.
"I don't know what I'm allowed to say. But usually they call me in if they need something explained [to the audience].
"There's a lot of explanations to do when it comes to that universe."
However, Skarsgard would not go on to say just what we are going to be seeing him doing in the new film.
The actor is amongst familiar faces as Robert Downey Jr, Scarlett Johansson, Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Jeremy Renner & Samuel. L Jackson are all back. Joss Whedon is also in the director's chair.
Avengers: Age of Ultron will come three years after the billion dollar success of Avengers Assemble, and will bring Phase Two of Marvel films to a close.
Avengers: Age of Ultron is released 24th April.
