Steve Jobs is already one of the most talked about movies of the autumn and the brand new trailer for the film has arrived.

Steve Jobs

Steve Jobs

Steve Jobs is a movie that is surrounded in Oscar whispers and will see FemaleFirst favourite Michael Fassbender take on the title role. Could this be the part that bangs him his first Best Actor Oscar nomination?

Fassbender is already being tipped as a potential Best Actor nominee and I cannot wait to see him in action. Check out the new trailer.

Steve Jobs marks the return of Danny Boyle to the director's chair for the first time since Trance back in 2013 - this is also the first time that the filmmaker has teamed up with Fassbender.

Aaron Sorkin is also back, having adapted Walter Isaacson's novel into a screenplay. We have seen Sorkin write for The West Wing, The Newsroom and Moneyball during his career as well as winning an Oscar for his work on the critically acclaimed The Social Network.

This autumn we are going to be treated to a host of great ensemble casts and Steve Jobs is just one of them. A wonderful group of actors have been assembled as Kate Winslet, Seth Rogen, Jeff Daniels, Katherine Waterston and Michael Stuhlbarg are all also on board.

Winslet is set to take on the role of former marketing chief of Macintosh, Joanna Hoffman, while Rogen landed the role of Steve Wozniak, the co-founder of Apple.

Set backstage at three iconic product launches and ending in 1998 with the unveiling of the iMac, Steve Jobs takes us behind the scenes of the digital revolution to paint an intimate portrait of the brilliant man at its epicenter.

It is always great to see Boyle back in the director's chair and I cannot wait to see him tackle a biopic movie once again. Steve Jobs is the movie that will close the BFI London Film Festival and it will bring the festival to an end with a bang.

Steve Jobs is released 13th November.
