Sylvester Stallone says that Mickey Rourke will be returning to The Expendables franchise.
The Oscar nominated actor was not present in the line-up for the second movie but it seems that he is back on board.
Stallone has been keeping fans up to date with the development of the movie and he took to Twitter to say: "Mighty Mickey is back..."
He also went on to drop a few teasers about who else may be joining the star studded cast list: "What’s the plan? Ask Jackie Chan..." before going on to say "Talked to Wesley today... He can not Wait to fight to the top again !!!!!!! Over..."
The Expendables 2 hit the big screen last year and enjoyed just as much box office success as the first film.
Third time around will see Patrick Hughes in the director's chair while Stallone has once again had a hand in penning the screenplay.
Filming should get underway this year as it is set to a 2014 release.
