Starring Vince Vaughn, Jennifer Carpenter, Udo Kier, Don Johnson and Marc Blucas, Brawl In Cell Block 99 tells the story of former boxer Bradley (Vaughn), who loses his job as an auto mechanic and looks close to also losing his wife following some tumultuous times in their marriage. Feeling he has no better option than to work in the world of drugs for an old friend, he eventually finds himself in a gunfight between police officers and his allies, before being thrown in prison.
The drama doesn’t end there however, as when he’s locked up, his enemies force him to commit horrendous acts of violence, turning the compound into a savage battleground. Check out a newly-released teaser trailer for the film below:
Directed and written by S. Craig Zahler (Bone Tomahawk), with Jack Heller and Dallas Sonnier serving as producers, Brawl In Cell Block 99 looks like one of the grittiest and most gripping releases of the year.
