Eli Roth is set to return to the director's chair this February with new adventure/horror movie The Green Inferno.

The Green Inferno

Roth is no stranger to the horror genre and he returns to this genre with The Green Inferno... and a great new poster has been unveiled.

Roth has brought us movies such as Cabin Fever and Hostel during his career and this is his first feature film since Knock Knock last summer. As well as being in the director's chair, Roth has teamed up with Guillermo Amoedo to pen the film's screenplay.

Lorenza Izzo is set to take on the central role of Justine and is joined on the cast list by Ariel Levy, Daryl Sabara, Kirby Bliss Blanton, Magda Apanowicz, and Sky Ferreira.

The film tells the tale of a group of student activists from New York who travel to South America on a trip of a lifetime to help save a tribe in danger of extinction.

Disaster strikes when the plane they are travelling in crashes into the Amazon jungle and they are taken hostage by the natives that they had intended to protect.

The group face a harrowing struggle to escape the tribe they've been brutally captured by, witnessing the ritualistic murders of their friends and eventually turning on each other in order to survive.

The Green Inferno is released in select UK cinemas 12th February and available on DVD & Blu-ray 22nd February.
