Kebbell is set to take on the role of the iconic villain in the Josh Trank directed film, as The Fantastic Four franchise is given a much needed reboot. And while Victor will be a character that we all recognise, Kebbell reveals that there have been some slight changes to the character's backstory.

Speaking to Collider, the actor said: "I'm excited to see it too, and my nerves really…The only thing I can tease you about is what I worked on most was the voice because nobody-even in the cartoons, when I was watching them I was like, "So where's he from?"

"There's a mild change and I'll tell you because of our history…. He's Victor Domashev, not Victor Von Doom in our story. And I'm sure I'll be sent to jail for telling you that. The Doom in ours-I'm a programmer. Very anti-social programmer. And on blogging sites I'm "Doom".

The Fantastic Four is the first film for director Trank since he made his debut with Chronicle back in 2012. He has brought together a terrific cast as Miles Teller, Kate Mara, Michael B Jordon, and Jamie Bell will take on the roles of Reed Richard, Sue Storm, Johnny Storm and Ben Grimm aka The Thing.

The Fantastic Four is set to be one of the big superhero/comic book movies of next year, and I am excited to see how Trank puts his stamp on this already well-known characters. It is the first time that we have seen The Fantastic Four on the big screen since Fantastic 4: Rise of the Silver Surfer back in 2007.

As for Kebbell, he has already enjoyed major box office success this year with Dawn of the Planet of the Apes - which was both a critical and commercial smash when it was released earlier this summer.

Kebbell was one of the new additions to the cast list as he took on the role of ape Koba, a character that was brought to life using fantastic motion capture.

And we are going to be seeing plenty of the actor on the big screen next year, as he has already completed work on Buddha's Little Finger and Warcraft. Warcraft is based on the popular computer game and sees Duncan Jones back in the director's chair. However, we are going to have to wait until 2016 until we see the film hit the big screen.

The Fantastic Four is released 6th August 2015.
