Victor Frankenstein is one of the 2015 films that I am already excited about, and the first synopsis for the film has arrived.
Directed by Paul McGuigan, the movie is a new take on the classic novel by Mary Shelley, and sees James McAvoy team up with Daniel Radcliffe.
McAvoy will play Victor Von Frankenstein and Daniel Radcliffe is on board as Igor - this movie marks the first time that they have worked together.
McGuigan is known for his films such as Gangster No 1 and The Reckoning, but Victor Frankenstein is his first movie since Push back in 2011.
James McAvoy is Victor Von Frankenstein and Daniel Radcliffe stars as Igor in a unique, never-before-seen twist on Mary Shelley’s classic 19th century novel.
Told from Igor’s perspective, we see the troubled young assistant’s dark origins, his redemptive friendship with the young medical student Victor Von Frankenstein, and become eyewitnesses to the emergence of how Frankenstein became the man - and the legend - we know today.
A great cast has been assembled for the film, as McAvoy & Radcliffe are joined by Jessica Brown Findlay, Andrew Scott, Mark Gatiss, and Daniel Mays.
However, we do have quite a wait for the film, as it will not be released in the UK until 2nd October 2015.
