There has been quite a bit of talk about a fourth film and the last time that we actually saw the actor take on the role was in Blade: Trinity back in 2004 - yes, it really was over a decade ago.

And while there has been no official word yet on whether a fourth film is potentially in the pipeline, Snipes seems keen and admits that the ball is in Marvel's court.

It was back in 1998 when Snipes took on the role of the Daywalker for the first time with Stephen Norrington in the director's chair and David S. Goyer on writing duties.

He returned four years later with Blade II and then Blade: Trinity in 2004. The franchise has been hugely popular over the years and it remains Snipes' most iconic role.

So could we see a fourth Blade film? Or, are we more likely to see this character return on the small screen?

Blade is one of Marvel's character and there is a possibility that it will follow in the footsteps of Daredevil and Jessica Jones and be turned into a Netflix television series.

I guess we are going to have to wait and see. But, it is always a positive sign if the actor is on board.

As for Snipes, he has completed work on Temple, which will see him star alongside Anne Heche and Dave Annable. John Stockwell is in the director's chair for the film.
