Warner Bros. UK this weekend released the brand new, final trailer for upcoming DC Extended Universe release, Wonder Woman. Unveiling the clip at the MTV Movie & Television Awards, the piece allows potential audiences another glimpse into the world of Diana Prince, aka the titular superhero, Wonder Woman, as she leaves her sheltered island paradise home with Steve Trevor (Chris Pine). Trained to be a warrior, Diana is a princess of the Amazons and knows nothing of the world beyond her world of Themyscira. When an American pilot crashes on the island however, he tells of a huge conflict that’s going on in the world outside, encouraging Diana to leave her home and attempt to stop the impending doom. Fighting alongside man for the first time, she’ll discover her full potential, powers and destiny as she becomes the lady known as Wonder Woman.

Patty Jenkins directs the movie from a screenplay written by Allan Heinberg, a story from Zack Snyder, Allan Heinberg and Jason Fuchs, with characters from the DC Universe.

Charles roven, Deborah Snyder, Zack Snyder and Richard Suckle produce the film, with Stephen Jones, Geoff Johns, Wesley Coller, Jon Berg and Rebecca Steel Roven as executive producers.

Wonder Woman hits cinemas on June 1, 2017.
