It was back in 2002 when Diesel took on this action role for the first time. Over a decade on, and he is back and teams up with filmmaker D.J. Caruso.
Caruso has brought us movies such as Disturbia and Eagle Eye in recent years. This is his first film since Standing Up in 2013 and marks his first collaboration with Diesel.

Diesel is not the only familiar face on the cast list Samuel L. Jackson is reprising the role of Agent Augustus Eugene Gibbons.
A great cast has been assembled as Ruby Rose, Nina Dobrev, Rory McCann, Donnie Yen, and Tony Jaa.
The third film in the action franchise sees Xander Cage return from a 'self-imposed exile' after his death was faked. He is called back into action to take on Xiang (Yen) who is looking for a dangerous weapon known as Pandora's Box.
xXx: Return Of Xander Cage is released in 2017.
