Sarah Shahi is rapidly making her names for herself as she worked on a whole host of movie and TV projects in recent years.

This week sees her back on the big screen as she teams up with action hero Sylvester Stallone for Bullet To The Head - a film in which they play father and daughter.

She kicked off her acting career back in 2000 when she picked up episode parts in the likes of City Guys Spin City and Boston Public.

As well as making her way on TV she also began forging a career on the big screen with parts in Dr. T and the Women, Old School and A Lot Like Love.

While she continued to pick up movie projects in the likes of AmericanEast and Crossing over but it was television where she has, so far, enjoyed her biggest success.

She joined the second season The L Word in 2005 where she took on the role of

Carmen de la Pica Morales for twenty five episodes.

She left the show in 2009 after choosing not to return for a fourth series of the hit show. But further TV success was to follow as she teamed up with Damian Lewis for Life.

Another major TV character was to follow in 2011 as she landed the role of Kate Reed in Fairly Legal on the USA Network.

She starred in the series for two seasons before the show was cancelled at the end of last year. Since then she has gone on appear in Renee Royce in Chicago Fire.

Shahi is back on the big screen this week with her new action movie Bullet To The Head - her first film since Static.

Bullet To The Head sees Walter Hill return to the director’s chair while the film is based upon on Alexis Nolent’s graphic novel Du Plom Dans La Tete.

An unlikely alliance between a cop and a hitman takes place after each watches his partner die The new partners seek revenge and discover they have a shared enemy and much in common despite being on opposite sides of the law.

This is not the only film that we are going to be seeing her in this year as she has also completed work on Road To Paloma - a project that she has produced.

The movie sees her reunite with her Bullet To The Head co-star Jason Momoa - who is in the director’s chair as well as on the cast list.

The movie marks the feature length directorial debut of Momoa while Lisa Bonet and Michael Raymond-James are also on the cast list.

Shahi is currently filming Adventures of Beatle with Michele Hicks, Ever Carradine and Jeffrey Dean Morgan.

Sarah Shahi has built a great television career over the years and now she is looking to really branch out into film - keep a close eye on this actress.
