Melissa McCarthy is set to return to the big screen as she reunites with director Paul Feig for Spy.

Spy

Spy

Spy is the third collaboration between McCarthy and Feig, having worked together on Bridesmaids and The Heat - both of which enjoyed big box office success in 2011 and 2013.

Now this great comedy duo is back with this new action movie and the first trailer for the film has arrived - warning this is the red band trailer:

McCarthy is set to play a CIA analyst turn spy who leads an all-star cast that includes Jude Law, Rose Byrne, Jason Statham, Allison Janney, Morena Baccarin, Bobby Cannavale, and 50 Cent.

Susan Cooper (McCarthy) is an unassuming, deskbound CIA analyst, and the unsung hero behind the Agency's most dangerous missions.

But when her partner (Law) falls off the grid and another top agent (Statham) is compromised, she volunteers to go deep undercover to infiltrate the world of a deadly arms dealer, and prevent a global disaster.

McCarthy and Feig have proved that they are a great comedy team in recent years, and Spy really does look like it has been a lot of fun.

Spy is released 5th June.
