It was back in 2001 when we were introduced to Zoolander for the first time... and the highly anticipated sequel is on the horizon.

Fans have been calling out for a second Zoolander movie for years and now Stiller is back as Derek Zoolander as well as being in the director's chair.
And it is Stiller who takes centre stage in the first teaser trailer for the film, which takes us inside Derek's brain. Check it out:
Stiller is not the only familiar face returning to the cast list as Owen Wilson, Will Ferrell, and Christine Taylor are back as Hansel, Mugatu, and Matilda Jeffries. However, there are some great new additions as Kristen Wiig and Penelope Cruz are also on board.
During his directing career, Stiller has brought us movies such as Zoolander, and Tropic Thunder but this is the first time that we have seen him in the director's chair since The Secret Life of Walter Mitty.
Justin Theroux is also on board the film project having penned the screenplay - this is his first feature film script since Rock of Ages.
Little is known about the plot except that it is set years after events of the first and Derek and Hansel are modelling again.
Zoolander 2 is a film that has taken fifteen years to get to the big screen and it is set to be one of the early must see films of 2016 if you were a fan of the first.
Zoolander 2 is released next year.
