The Script

The Script

After selling over 90,000 tickets in a day for their UK Arena tour,  selling out London The O2 Arena almost instantly, and climbing back up the charts to Number One this week with album ‘Science and Faith’ The Script have confirmed a second London show at Wembley Arena on March 25th.

About the new tour Dubliners Danny O’Donoghue, Mark Sheehan and Glen Power say:"Our first Arena Tour is now upon us and we can't believe this magic run we are on. First and foremost we are a live band and this stage is something any band can only dream about. We are so humbled that people from every walk of life are putting us in this position and are eternally grateful for your love and support. We’re gonna give it everything, we just can't wait!!"

The Script follow the runaway success of Top Five track ‘For The First Time’ with their shattering new single, ‘Nothing’ on November 21st on RCA. A towering guitar ballad of the kind this Dublin trio do best, ‘Nothing’ takes on the thoroughly modern matter of a drunken, lovelorn mobile phone call to a lost love. As frontman Danny O’Donoghue says, “We’ve all been there.”  Drinking to forget, but ending up drinking one too many, this sentimental stormer sees Danny dialing up an ex-girlfriend to proclaim his everlasting love and receiving – yep, you guessed it – ‘Nothing’ in return.

The Script’s new album ‘Science and Faith’ is the follow up to 2008’s 1.8 million selling self-titled global smash of a debut. Featuring a clutch of hit singles, including ‘Breakeven’, ‘The Man Who Can’t Be Moved’ and ‘We Cry’, 2008’s ‘The Script’, went straight to Number One in the UK and Ireland and lead to the trio being personally asked by Paul McCartney to support him at a number of US stadium shows. Expect ‘Science & Faith’ to make an equally impressive impact.
