Beverley Knight

Beverley Knight

Beverley Knight is set to release ‘In Your Shoes’, the second single from her critically acclaimed ‘100%’ album, on November 9th through Hurricane Records. Following on from the classy soul/ pop of lead single ‘Beautiful Night’, ‘In Your Shoes’ is an altogether funkier beast, built around an infectious sample from 80’s classic ‘Rip It Up’, by Orange Juice.

Chipmunk, the MOBO winning rapper and fan of Bev, also appears on a version of the single. The track many critics have dubbed the highlight of the 100% set, with its call to “Get Yourself A Life – and Make it Work!” is Knight’s response to those who waste time moaning and being jealous of other people rather than focussing on their own issues.

100% is Beverley’s sixth studio album, and a set that sees the triple Mobo award winning star working with illustrious former writing partners including Guy Chambers as well as Grammy Award winning legends Jam and Lewis, and Ivor Novello winning songwriter Amanda Ghost. The album also features a duet with soul legend Chaka Khan.
