We The Kings
After hanging out with our new celebrity best mates We The Kings on Monday (see what they got up to here) I decided to give their album, Smile Kid, a little whiz in my car.
I only drove 40 miles, but the CD hasn’t been out of the player since, and whilst I’m not at that point where I can differentiate between one song and the next just yet, I’ve got to admit, the title track, ‘Smile Kid’ and their current single, ‘Heaven Can Wait’ are both well worth checking out this weekend.
Heaven Can Wait is one of those feel-good summer anthems that might not sound too different from one someone like the All American Rejects brought out a couple of years ago, and The Story Of Your Life is very Sum 41-ish... but that doesn’t matter, we still love them.
So, this weekend, you know that extra £10 you were going to spend on a new band and flower for your hair that you don’t really need, well use it one something that will benefit your ears as well as still making you look cool. Although my new headband is pretty fit though….
