Alexandra Burke

After ruling the airwaves for weeks with her last Top Five hit ‘All Night Long,’ Alexandra Burke delivers her next, all new smash ‘Start Without You’ in August.

Fusing traditional reggae influences with dancehall beats and power-pop melodies, the track is set to cause a long-lasting heat wave when it hits radio in July; and with remixes courtesy of Stonebridge Alexandra will also be blazing club floors across the country once again.

Written and produced by Lady Gaga mastermind Red One, ‘Start Without You’ was recorded in the spring and will be available for the very first time this summer. The track features new Jamaican-American Reggae and Hip Hop artist Laza on rhyming duty, a member of the legendary Morgan family (dubbed ‘The Royal Family of Reggae’)

The last 18 months have been a triumph for music’s most exciting pop juggernaut, Alexandra Burke. Four huge hit singles (including two number ones) a number one double-platinum album, innumerable radio spins and a performance for The Queen have cemented her place as the UK’s prime female recording artist.

In 2009, Alexandra released her A-list produced debut album ‘Overcome,’ which went straight to Number One in the UK and has already born four huge chart hits (‘Hallelujah,’ ‘Bad Boys,’ ‘Broken Heels’ and ‘All Night Long.’) Created with the help of perhaps the industries most in-demand production houses (Roc Nation and Jay-Z, The Phantom Boyz, Red One, Ne-Yo and Stargate) the album has already sold in excess of 600,000 copies in the UK alone. With mainland Europe also falling in love with Alexandra this diva’s star is supernova.
