With 'Bad Blood' still making waves in the music industry, we've decided to take a look at the Katy Perry and Taylor Swift feud as well as four others which have inspired some spiteful songs to be released for our listening pleasure.

1) Taylor Swift vs. Katy Perry

Though the pair don't really talk about one another when it comes to chatting with the media, the feud has been one boiling under for some time now after dancers on Swift's tour decided they'd like to leave midway through to go and dance on Perry's tour instead. Swift saw this as a cheap shot by her rival and went on to release her track 'Bad Blood', heavily speculated to be about the star. Katy has yet to respond through a song of her own...

2) Eminem vs. Mariah Carey

Though it's not quite clear what made Eminem lash out at Mariah in some of his songs, he did so a couple of times before Carey seemed to hit back in 'Clown' in 2003. Later playing voicemails at his tour allegedly from Mariah, the feud continued until Mariah dropped a new single - 'Obsessed' - obviously parodying the rapper in the video. Eminem seemed to end things however when he then replied with a fully fledged diss track for Carey - WARNING - it has some very strong language.

3) Eamon vs. Frankee

Whether or not this was a real feud or something done simply for publicity as it's now been claimed, these two tracks were two of the most popular of any 90s kid's childhood, with hilarious lyrics about the breakdown of a relationship that quickly went sour. As two of the most iconic diss tracks in history, we couldn't not include them on the list - even if they're both about fictional relationships.

4) Nicki Minaj vs. Lil Kim

Nicki is the hottest female in the rap game right now, a position that was once held by Lil Kim. Unfortunately for the latter, she's now had to resort to selling her albums on Paypal and faded mostly into irrelevance when it comes to the mainstream music scene. Dissing one another throughout their careers, it's hard to pick just one tune that really gives a taste of what we're dealing with here, but this should really give a well-rounded view on what they think of one another.

5) Taylor Swift vs. John Mayer

Yes, as the only person to appear here twice it looks as if the musician we see most letting her feelings be known about fellow artists is Taylor Swift. Going at Mayer following the breakdown of her relationship in her track 'Dear John', she says he made her cry during their time together, but he didn't want to let the song go without giving his response. His 'Paradise Valley' album included the track 'Paper Doll', in which he accuses Taylor of being "22 girls in one".
