Upbeat indie-soul sounding band Nude are a four piece that are hoping to pave their way onto the UK scene with debut single 'Oh My Lady'.

The four have come from all over the UK to the Northern College of Music in Manchester, each member with a different background and influence that feeds into the group's unified sound.

Frank Morgan from Cardiff plays the bass for Nude, and once fell down a shallow mine out of Newport. It was in fact his bass that broke his fall and potentiall saved his life.

Edinburgh's Will Jaquet on drums turned to music after his promising Celtic Youth FC football career was cut short thanks to consecutive red cards he garnered playing on the pitch.

Vocalist Inigo Ford from London is the grandson of author Beryl Bainbridge and had his placenta bottled at home in formaldehyde.

Manchester born guitarist Jonny Smale previously supported Ian Brown with his former band Carpe Diam, playing with Manchester drum legend 'Funky Si' Simon Wolstencroft.

An interesting cocktail of stories telling of near misses and once in a lifetime experiences, the band prove promising with their unique sound and creative minds.

A number of gigs are scheduled for the coming months on the following dates:

29th March – The Deaf Institute, Manchester
8th April - Dynamo, Zurich
18th April – The Troubadour, London
25th April – RNCM Opera Theatre, Manchester
18th June – Cambridge University Summer Ball
