25-year-old Bianca Claxton "never dreamt this would happen", because she's such a fan of the Eurovision Song Contest! She'll be hoping to represent the UK with her track 'Shine A Little Light', written by Biff Stannard and Leona Lewis.

Karl William Lund is a 29-year-old singer from Liverpool who studied music at John Moores University. He says: "I feel ready for this, like all the hard work over the years has brought me to this point." He'll be singing 'Miracle', which he wrote in 2012 but revisited following a cancer diagnosis for his brother-in-law.

Matthew James has experienced a taste of fame in the past after being a part of nineties boyband Bad Boys Inc, who released hit single 'More To This World'. He says ahead of the show: "It's my birthday on the 14th May - I'll either be in Stockholm performing or at home crying."

Darline are a country pop duo that only formed in the middle of last year and are made up of Cára Beth Beard, 18, and Abby Inez, 20. Introduced by one half of The Shires, Ben Earl, the pair instantly clicked through their mutual love for acts such as Fleetwood Mac and Carrie Underwood.

Dulcima Showan is a 23-year-old singer who met 27-year-old songwriter Tomas Twyman whilst they both busked on the streets of Canterbury. Pairing up when Tom asked Dulcima to sing at a music event he organised, they've collaborated ever since and say they're "honoured, nervous and psyched" for this major opportunity.

Joe Woolford and Jake Shakeshaft met during the fourth series of The Voice UK, with both competitors getting three chair turns in their original blind auditions. Though neither won they've continued to chase a career in music and decided to pair up after becoming firm friends in the process.
