Mary Lambert is to officially release her new single 'She Keeps Me Warm' through Virgin EMI later this year, after the world fell in love with her brilliant and soothing vocals after she featured on Macklemore and Ryan Lewis' marriage equality anthem, 'Same Love'.

Blasting onto radios all over the world, 'Same Love' became a global success and was nominated for a Grammy Award, winning an MTV Award and becoming the song that 33 couples got married to during a live performance at the Grammy Awards.

Now Lambert has unveiled the full version of her original song for the first time in the UK, starting with a simple piano line that lays under her stripped back vocal before a subtle tap of high-hat crescendos burst into the powerful chorus.

Starting out her life as a musician, Mary Lambert also worked as a bartender and brunch waitress. It was at the age of six when she began to play piano and found herself inspired by artists including James Taylor and Tracy Chapman. Turning 19, Lambert discovered the art of Spoken Word and eventually represented Seattle in the Brave New Voices Poetry Competition, going on to win Seattle's Grand Slam Poetry Competition in 2011.
