Mutya Keisha Siobhan aren't fussed their debut single 'Flatline' failed to chart in the UK top 20.

The original Sugababes line-up refused to make a "throw away hit" for their comeback and aren't disheartened it wasn't a bigger hit.

Keisha Buchanan explained to DigitalSpy: "I don't think our song got lost on the radio. I think there were certain things that happened behind the scenes that couldn't be helped. Our goal was to put a song out that people liked and we think we've done that.

"If we wanted to record an easy throwaway hit then we would have put something out back in 2010 after we first met up.

"We didn't because we won't compromise our music and we're here for the long haul. Also, it's all about the album really and not just the singles for us."

Siobhan Donaghy added she felt a huge relief to finally release new material with Keisha and Mutya Buena ahead of their tour in November.

She explained: "We've been dying to get the music out there and it's been a long time coming. It's great to start the campaign and get going with the tour. The tour is what it's all about really as our live performance is such an important part of what we are. In that respect, the single has done the job it was meant to do."

The trio made up the original Sugababes, formed in 1998, but left over the years until they had all been replaced. They later regrouped as Mutya Keisha Siobhan [a.k.a. MKS] and are releasing their first material together since 2000s 'Overload'.
