Tinie Tempah has revealed that his next single is to be '5 Minutes' - a song lifted from his most recent studio album 'Demonstration'.

The single's music video was unveiled today alongside the announcement - seen below - with just glimpses of colour woven into a mostly black and white piece of film.

Collaborating unexpectedly with Zane Lowe on production for the track, it also features engineering from Pendulum's Rob Swire and samples parts of LL Cool J's 'Mama Said Knock You Out'.

“I’d been playing Zane some of the album, and he goes ‘Hey, I know this is going to sound weird, but I actually have something for you’. I was like ‘Oh no, what have I done. He’s one of the biggest DJs in the country, he’s gonna play me something, I’m not gonna like it, I’m gonna have to say yes, take the beat, and I’m never going to do anything with it’. Luckily, as soon as he played it I was like ‘Oh fuck! Yeah, I’m very up for this.’” recalls Tinie of the chance opportunity.

The single will be released on June 2 through Parlophone just before Tinie kicks off a summer boatload of live sessions, starting with Party at the Proact on June 8 before heading to Wireless, Leicester, Sundown and Benicassim amongst others.
