The Charlatans have announced that The Verve’s Pete Salisbury will act as stand in drummer for the UK tour whilst Jon Brookes recovers from his operation.
Brookes, who collapsed on stage in Philadelphia last week, is preparing for his operation this week, back in the UK. It is not known how long he will be out of action but it is thought that Salisbury will complete the October UK tour at least:
