Influenced heavily by the sounds of indie disco and 60's and 70's rock The Love Band combines psychedelic vocals with spaced out guitar and blissed out beats bringing an infectiously catchy sound that is truly original for any band at this time.
The album was recorded, written and produced by The Love Band in their London studios. The band are made up of Kristian Mortimer on guitar & vocals and James Lewin on drums & production.
Kristian is a popular yet much misunderstood and maligned character whose only goal in life appears to be sheer hedonism and wanton self destruction which in the main is mostly true, but there is a deeper more sensitive side to the overt self obsessed insanity in there somewhere.
James is a more thoughtful and considered character just as popular and self obsessed but with a controlled approach to life and music, Appearing to all around him to be calm and aloof of the world and it all. He has been known to really get his freak on many many numerous occasions when the dance floor calls to him!
