The Plot In You
Hailing from Findlay, Ohio The Plot In You started as a side-project of former Before Their Eyes (Rise Records) guitarist/vocalist, Landon Tewers, but quickly became his main focus.
After parting ways with BTE, a solid line-up for the band was formed and work on their debut EP was underway. "Wife Beater" (InVogue Records) was both heavy as well as haunting, where lyrically Tewers gives you a look inside the lives of people he has come into contact with over the years.
After signing to Rise Records in 2010, the band has been steadily writing for the first full length, which will be released May 2nd 2011 entitled ‘First Born’.
Commenting on the recording process, vocalist Landon Tewers says, “It was great being able to self-produce our own album. We got to work at our own pace, redo, and tweak songs until we were 100% satisfied with everything. We had a good 6 months to write and demo everything out as well, so every song was written pretty far apart. We just wanted to make sure this album was exactly how we pictured it, and I feel like we accomplished that.”
