On 17th December Gentleman’s Dub Club will be releasing new single ‘Feels Like’ on Ranking Records.

Opening with an eerie synth and guitar led intro, ‘Feels Like’ instantly kicks in with the Gents’ trademark dub-reggae sound and Johnny’s compelling vocals distantly echo Calvin Harris.

A song of human nature and longing to understand one another, the track is filled with ska horns and reggae bass lines that kicks into a jumping catchy dance floor chorus.

Elsewhere, the drums and synth provide 90s dance and house rhythms with an electronic edge and the guitar subtly nods towards an appreciation of rock.

Gentleman's Dub Club have toured extensively, supporting a number of established artists such as Madness, Roots Manuva, The Streets, The Wailers and Finlay Quaye.

The guys have been getting plenty of love from the festival circuit, having played numerous events throughout the UK including Latitude, Glastonbury, Bestival, V, Secret Garden Party, plus the biggest bass music festival in the world, Outlook in Croatia.

Gentleman’s Dub Club sticksman Tommy Evans is also the drummer for the hugely acclaimed live dubstep band Submotion Orchestra and GDC bassist Toby Davies records as the hotly-tipped producer Planas.

Earlier this year the band released the ‘Open Your Eyes EP’ on Ranking Records, which achieved No.1 in the iTunes reggae chart and has yet to leave the top 20.

As well as planning for a full album release in Spring 2013, Gentleman’s Dub Club have recently been keeping UK dance floors bouncing on their winter tour consisting of 26 UK dates.
