For those who may be new to your music, how best would you describe your sound?

Analogue synth blissed out boogie.

What challenges have you faced in the music industry so far?

London has such a healthy, massive music scene that it's tricky to get heard amongst all the awesome music coming out every day. We also ran into challenges pressing our first vinyl - who knew there were so few places to get a record pressed, and that sometimes you have to wait months for yours to get done!

How difficult would you say this career path is in terms of making a name for yourself?

Pretty tough - if you're in it for instant fame, think again. We mainly focus on making the best tunes we can, and hopefully that comes through when people listen to them.

How important is it for you to have creative control over the work you produce?

Very important, as we do everything ourselves, from writing the track, to recording it to mixing the final record. We wouldn't have it any other way.

Where do you draw influence and inspiration from for your work?

From other types of music, obviously, but also from daily life - our new record, Canal Life, was inspired by the sights and sounds of the East London canals. We think you can draw inspiration from anything, really.

If you could collaborate with anybody going forward, who would you choose and why?

Roisin Murphy - everything she does is pure class and hip as f**k.

Tell us a random, funny fact about you that not many people know.

Henry has a massive collection of Hawaiian and other tasteless shirts that he wears without a hint of irony.

Do you have definitive aims or goals for your career?

The only real goal is to keep enjoying the music, and making better music each time around.

Where do you hope to be this time next year?

To have released a few more records under our own label (Dreamtime Records) - not necessarily our own releases, but by artists we love, which will introduce some new acts to the music world.

What should we expect from you in the coming weeks and months?

Our first release on vinyl (Canal Life) comes out next month (Sept 25th) which is also the first release for our record label. Some new remixes will soon follow, and hopefully some live shows.
