The Beastie Boys have added Bob Dylan to their ranks - the folk rock legend will make a surprise appearance on the trio's new album.
Beastie Boys Ad-Rock and Mike D were stunned to hear their musical idol discussing their music on a satellite radio show he hosts, and they decided to sample Dylan's enthusiastic words and use them on their next release, Hot Sauce Committee Pt 2.
Speaking to FemaleFirst; Mike D, aka Mike Diamond, says, "Bob Dylan is one of the greatest songwriters of all time. When you think songwriter, you think of him, Gordon Lightfoot; there’s not many others. He played one of our songs and was talking about us; he’s a big fan. So we collaborated with that."
Hot Sauce Committee Pt 1. is due for release in September.
