China Rats

China Rats

China Rats are off on their first proper tour of the UK this week in support of their new single '(At Least Those) Kids Are Getting Fed' which is released on the 8th October through Once Upon a Time Records.

Having already played at Live at Leeds, Amsterdam's 'London Calling' and then accidentally headlining the Trident stage at Benicassim when Bat For Lashes had to pull out (after wowing one of the bookers on the tiny Villacamp Stage the night before) - they've already shown that live, their music sounds fast and frenetic, their three minute songs have just the right mix of pop and punk that makes a crowd go mental.

China Rats formed in Leeds in the Summer of 2011. They released their debut EP 'To Be Like I' in April this year.

This quickly earned the attention of Huw Stephens, which resulted in a spot on the BBC Radio 1 Introducing Playlist with an anthem called 'N.O.M.O.N.E.Y'.

'(At Least Those) Kids Are Getting Fed' is the follow up single released on the 8th of October and is written, produced and mixed by the band.
