Common lands animated role in Happy Feet 2
Common has landed his first animated role in Happy Feet 2, after missing out on playing superhero the Green Lantern in a planned animated Justic League film.
The Book of Life singer was cast as the Green Latern in the film, but the project didn't get off the ground.
Miller, however, took a shine to the star and asked him to sign up for his next film.
The director tells WENN: "I fell in love with the guy and I called him up and said, 'You can't play the Green Lantern but how about playing a penguin?'"
