The Red Hot Chili Peppers have officially made their comeback in the U.K. albums chart - their new release I'm With You has debuted at number one.

The follow-up to 2006's Stadium Arcadium replaced British pop star Will Young at the top - Echoes slips to three on this week's countdown, while dance DJ David Guetta is at two with Nothing But The Beat.

Rapper Lil Wayne also scores a high entry at eight with Tha Carter IV.

In the U.K. singles chart, singer/rapper Example shoots straight to the top with Stay Awake, while Maroon 5 and Christina Aguilera swap places with British singer Olly Murs - Moves Like Jagger climbs up one spot to two, while Heart Skips A Beat places Murs at three.
