Speaking on what inspired her brand new single 'In Common', Alicia Keys has been preparing her first new material in four years for some time, with the track taken from her upcoming sixth studio album due for official release in the summer.
Written by Alicia alongside Tayla Parks, Illangelo and Billy Walsh, with production from Illangelo, the song will be performed live by Alicia for the first time on NBC's Saturday Night Live this coming weekend, on May 7.
On May 28 in Milan, the singer will also make history as the first ever musician to open the UEFA Champions League Final, watched by hundreds of millions of people across the globe.
