McFly’s own Danny Jones has this week revealed he’ll be embarking on a solo career as a musician throughout the summer. Having already teamed up with some big names, such as Ash Howes, Jake Gosling, Mike Needle, Dan Bryer, and Emily Philips, the boybander looks set to tear up the charts when he drops his new material.

“I’ve been working on new songs for quite some time now and I can’t wait for everyone to hear them,” Jones says. “The fans have been so supportive across the world and I’m excited for them all to join me on the next part of my journey. I’m really looking forward to getting back out on the road and performing again as I’ve really missed it.”

With McFly currently on a break as the members of the band each pursue their own individual projects, Jones’ timing couldn’t have been any better.

The singer/songwriter has already announced his first solo show, which will take place at London’s O2 Islington on June 25, 2018. Tickets for the gig will be available from 9am on Friday, June 15.

Jones will also be making his return to The Voice Kids a little later this year, for the show’s second series, alongside fellow coaches will.i.am and Pixie Lott.

We’ll bring you more news from Jones’ solo career as and when we get it!
