The rapper found fame within the group alongside Fazer and Tulisa after the release of their debut album 'Uncle B' in 2008, but they announced their hiatus in November 2011 after two further records - 'Against All Odds' and 'Love.Live.Life'.

However, Dappy's also keen to continue his solo career before reuniting the trio, despite the group claiming initially the break would only last two years.

Speaking to MTV News, he explained: "I've had three number ones by myself, I want another two under my belt so then you get that respect, then I'll bring back the group."

Dappy's hoping to release his second studio solo album 'Miracles' later in the year, building on the success of his 2012 release 'Bad Intentions'.

He also stated that when N-Dubz do reform, they'll be "unique" and "different".

"You're gonna see N-Dubz and Tulisa and Fazer in a very different way. It's gonna be something very interesting.

"If I bring back the N-Dubz, I'll definitely think of something very smart and unique to come back with."
