The former 'X Factor' runner-up's favourite artist of all time is the 'Thriller' hitmaker and as well as playing his classics constantly she also studies his live performances and pioneering dance moves each day to get ideas for her own stage shows.

Speaking to BANG Showbiz as she arrived to take part in the WE Day event at The SSE Wembley Arena in London on Wednesday morning (22.03.17), she said: "As a performer Michael Jackson is a huge inspiration; even today I still listen to him and watch his performances on YouTube."

Although Michael - who passed away in June 2009 at the age of 50 - is a major influence on her music, Fleur's mother is a major influence on her life in general because she's such a "resilient and determined" person.

She added: "I think in my life my mother is a big influence. She is someone who is very resilient, determined, no matter what knocks her down she just gets back up, she's just so positive and she taught me to live that way so she's a huge inspiration."

Fleur, 29, was attending WE Day to perform her version of Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars' 'Uptown Funk' with the Living The Dream Dance Company.

WE Day was created by activists and brothers Craig and Marc Kielburger who began WE as a non-profit Facebook page aimed at helping young people all over the world have a positive impact on their communities and society as a whole.

And the 'Sax' singer was thrilled to be involved in the event as she believes there is nothing more important than educating and inspiring children and teenagers.

Fleur said: "WE Day is important because I love children and anything to do with youth, they're our future leaders so it's important to install some positive messages and do positive things in the community. In this new generation it's a lot about yourself, social media has made it a lot about yourself so it's good that we are helping encourage people in the community to help others so that's a positive thing. My message to the kids is take from this that we need to help each other, as a human race it's important to stand together and do positive things and actually it makes you a much richer person when you do something positive for other people when you see you can affect change in other people's lives."
