The 'Chained to the Rhythm' hitmaker and the grime superstar will perform at the iconic music event held at Somerset's Worthy Farm in South West England from June 23 to June 25, joining headliners Radiohead, Ed Sheeran and Foo Fighters and many more acts.

Also on the list is Bee Gees legend Barry Gibb, The xx, Royal Blood, Biffy Clyro, The National, Chic, Major Lazer, Lorde, The Jacksons, The Flaming Lips, Emeli Sande, Halsey, George Ezra, Kaiser Chiefs and many more.

Sharing the line-up poster on the official Glastonbury Twitter, they wrote: "Here is our first Glastonbury 2017 line-up poster (by @StandleyDonwood). Many more acts and attractions still to be announced (sic)"

Katy, 32, is so thrilled to be playing that she took to Twitter to ask the organisers if she can have tea and crumpets.

She wrote: "I can has tea and crumpets!? @glastofest (sic)"

Country music legend Kris Kristofferson has also been confirmed, and although it's not known which stage he'll grace, he has been tipped to play the 'legends' slot on the Sunday afternoon.

With many more acts yet to be confirmed, the official line-up was more than welcomed by festival punters after several incorrect line-up lists were supposedly leaked online.

Glastonbury organiser Emily Eavis - who manages the acts playing with her father Michael Eavis - quickly dismissed them as "fake news".

Posting on Twitter, she wrote: "Don't believe everything you read, our line up has not been leaked. The actual line up will be with you soon! (sic)"
