Taylor Swift has today (August 25) released the first cut from her upcoming album ‘reputation’ in the form of new single ‘Look What You Made Me Do’, available for streaming and download now, with the lyric video also released on Swift’s YouTube page. Check it out below:

Darker than her previous work, rumours are now swirling as to whether the song is about her rivals in the music industry, such as Katy Perry and Kanye West.

Perry had previously said following the release of her song ‘Swish, Swish’ that she would like to lay their back-and-forth feud to rest, whilst the last we heard from Kanye and his wife Kim Kardashian-West was a leak of phone conversations that allegedly saw Swift agreeing to be a part of the now infamous ‘Famous’ music video by Kanye.

Whatever the case may be, the singer-songwriter has certainly gotten tongues wagging, which must have been her ultimate goal in any case. Publicity means more streams and sales for the star, which at the end of the day is everything her job is about.

‘Look What You Made Me Do’ is available now, with new album ‘reputation’ released on November 10, 2017.
