James Blake headlined Festival No. 6 last night (13.09.13).
The 'Limit Your Love' singer brought the first day of the festival to a close when he performed to fans in Portmeirion, north Wales.
James - whose album 'Overgrown' has been nominated for the 2013 Barclaycard Mercury Prize - took to the stage after 'Everything Everything' and entertained crowds at the event, which was expected to pull in 10,000 punters to see over 350 acts.
Recently speaking about the event, Manic Street Preachers - who will close the festival tomorrow (15.09.13) - insisted this show is the "only thing" which could persuade them to end their "self-enforced two year" ban on UK shows.
They said: "Festival No.6 is the only thing that could break our self-enforced two year British gig ban.
"To be able to play in Sir Clough Williams-Ellis' iconic village is something of a dream for us. See you in September."
Meanwhile, festival organiser Meurig Jones has expressed his desire for the event to continue its eclectic blend of "music and arts".
He recently explained: "We are trying to give a vast range of music and arts.
"My favourite stage is the central piazza, the great iconic building that we have here that will have a whole range of comedy and spoken word.
"Sir Clough who built the village didn't want it to become a museum. He wanted it to be used and be an inspiration to others, and to have this here is of course carrying on his legacy."
