With the photo on Instagram came the caption: "Always a good time with my buddy. I'll never forget when he called me last year to work and I hung up the phone cuz I thought it was a prank! (sic)".

Working on the follow-up to her third studio album 'ARTPOP' - released in 2013 - she's also been working alongside producer Giorgia Moroder.

Another photo posted on her Instagram account recently of her and Adele sparked rumours of a collaboration after the two were hanging out in Los Angeles.

Meanwhile, Paul's also been busy with Rihanna and Kanye West on the former's new single 'FourFiveSeconds', which he's to perform with the pair at this year's Grammy Awards on Sunday, February 8.
