The 27-year-old grime rapper has been in the industry for over 10 years, but recently gained mainstream popularity with her 'Queen Speech' series of songs.

'Queen Speech Ep. 4' features lyrics that some listeners have found distasteful particularly the line "I'll turn a man to a girl like Bruce Jenner", which made a joke out of Caitlyn Jenner's transition.

Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz, she said: "I've never ever written anything in my life to offend someone on purpose. I've never done that. I write things that I know people are going to relate to. And I think some people, they kind of got it a little bit twisted and felt like I was trying to offend people. But as a rapper you're out to the world, you're going to offend somebody, everyone likes to have an opinion on what you say and do."

Meanwhile, the Birmingham-born star said she was inspired by Eminem from a young age because he does whatever he wants.

She said: "Eminem, he's very controversial so I've learnt from the best. And sometimes you've just got to do what you want to do you know.

"Well Eminem is the reason why I do what I do today. And I just liked his character, the way he was really funny and humorous in his music videos, he didn't really care."
