The 'Born to Die' hitmaker will kick off by dropping the first single 'Mariners Apartment Complex', which will receive its first play as Annie Mac's Hottest Record in The World' on BBC Radio 1 tonight (12.09.18) at 7.30pm.

The new tune is the first teaser of what to expect from the star's new record, which won't drop until 2019.

The 'Video Games' singer will then put out 'Venice Bitch' on September 18. Both tracks are produced by Jack Antonoff.

The pair have been teasing fans for months that they were working together on new music.

Last month, the 'Lust for Life' singer and the Bleachers star rocked matching outfits, cream white linen suits, in a Twitter selfie which set tongues-wagging that they had been cooking up some new tunes.

Lana simply captioned the post: "Hi!"

The star also posted another photo of the pair on Instagram, writing: "Just because."

In March, the 33-year-old singer teased that Jack - who has worked with the likes of Taylor Swift, Lorde and St. Vincent - was involved in her next studio album after sharing a picture in the studio with studio wizard.

Lana posted a photo of the studio wizard with orange peel on his hand, and joked: "Yesterday I made Jack an orange bracelet (sic)"

Lana's last album was 2017's 'Lust for Life', however she co-wrote 'Loaded' for Miles Kane along with Jamie T.

The 'Crying On My Guitar' rocker revealed in May that he ditched the rest of the tracks he wrote with the American star from his latest solo album 'Coup de Grace', because they didn't fit the "wild" sound he wanted for the record.

He spilled: "I wanted the new album to be wild, very lively.

"Some of the songs I wrote were slow ballads - they were quite John Lennon-y.

"That includes other songs I wrote with Lana."
