The 'Body On Me' hitmaker signed a new deal with Atlantic Records UK - a subsidiary of Warner Music Group - in June following her departure from Jay-Z's label Roc Nation.

And now she has teased that she is going to be very "honest" about leaving Roc Nation and certain aspects of her private life on the follow-up to her 2012 debut LP 'Ora'.

Talking about the themes on her next album, she said : "It's just everything from my personal life to what I couldn't do due to previous situations and now being free. I've never been freer than I am right now.

"It's about everything from being a refugee, from flying in from Kosovo and living in London, having this amazing city that's crazy and full of lights -- talking about real stuff."

The 25-year-old pop beauty said she is "desperate" to release new music and says people will see a whole new Rita reflected in her lyrics.

She told London's Evening Standard newspaper: "I'm desperate to get my music out. I think I'm now at a point in my life where I have a new amazing label, we really have taken it to the next level. It's very song-based.

"It's very real -- real instruments, believable lyrics. I've not only grown as an individual but as a woman. People are going to see that."

As for when to expect her hotly-anticipated album, the buxom blonde said she will be heading to Los Angeles in October to finish it.

She said: "I've been in a whirlwind but I've honestly been living my dream. I was living in New York for three months filming America's Next Top Model, now I'm in London for two months recording every day with my dream team. Then I fly to LA in October to finish the album."

And despite her six-month legal dispute with Roc Nation, she has nothing but praise for Jay-Z's label.

She added: "I just want to move forward," she said. "It's something that I appreciate and the memories are incredible. They opened the door to my whole life ... Everything happens for a reason. That's all I'll say."
